Suresh Rajan is currently a Senior Lecturer at MIT (Manukau Institute of Technology, New Zealand). He specialises in Public Relations, Visual, Electronic and Cross-cultural communication. He also has an interest in qualitative research applications in these areas.

He is on the NZCA’s national executive since 2006 and represents New Zealand on the IAQI’s (International Association of Qualitative Inquiry, University of Illinois, USA) international advisory committee. He is a life-member of PRSI (Public Relations Society of India) and associate member of PRINZ.

A former Lieutenant Colonel, Suresh has twenty years of practical experience in HR Management and Communication. This included advising India’s Ministry of Defence on Public Relations policy formulation.  He now co-ordinates MIT's overseas orientation training for New Zealand Government agencies and the NZDF (New Zealand Defence Forces).
