Welcome to the Communication Journal of New Zealand – He Kohinga Korero
From its inception, it has been clear that the New Zealand Communication Association has had a sense of purpose. Its leaders have been passionate about developing, nurturing and challenging a collegial group of professional communicators; and it is this drive that has resulted in the inaugural publication of the Communication Journal of New Zealand – He Kohinga Korero.
The CJNZ aims:
To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, research and experience in communication in Aotearoa New Zealand and Pasifika.
To encourage and enhance research and its professional application.
To explore and discuss communication issues in a bicultural and multicultural society.
To promote the effectiveness of business practice through research and add value to the knowledge economy.
To explore and exploit opportunities presented by technology.

All NZCA members receive a subscription to the CJNZ. The journal is published at least once a year.

Contributors are reminded that manuscripts need to be received twelve weeks prior to publishing to allow time for the double blind reviewing process.
Past editions of the CJNZ will be available to view shortly. Our online archive will include the abstract for each article published and is currently under construction. Please check back for updates.
